This is young Alaska, a 13 week old Stafforshire Bull Terrier who heard a rumour that bees 🐝🐝🐝were a delicacy this season. Boy was she wrong! The stinger which you can see, actually got caught on her lip on the way in, which made it easy for veterinary staff to remove safely. Alaska's fast thinking family got her to the clinic as soon as they noticed swelling to not only her face but her entire body. Bee sting bites can be very serious if not treated urgently. Alaska has since left the bees 🐝🐝🐝in the garden alone and is back to her not so swollen self. Adorable as ever!
